Kiyou raaj abhishek teh, bhayou kund Govind ||
Lord Indra had performed Govindabhishek here; hence it got the name Govindkund. Indra gave the title ‘Govind’ to God. Like Mansiganga this Kund is also filled with milk in divine form.
Shri Mahaprabhuji’s Bethak:
Below the tree of kadamb at Govindkund are the Bethakjis of Shri Mahaprabhuji & Shri Girirajji. Shri Mahaprabhuji stayed here for three days & performed Bhagwat Parayan. Shri Mahaprabhuji had shown divine darshan of Shri Girirajji’s kandra to one of his sevaks Krshnadas Meghan here. A parrot sitting on the Neekunj of the kandra was constantly reciting Ashtakshar mantra, seeing this Shri Krshnadas Meghan’s pride came to stake about reciting the ashtakshar mantra. Here, Shri Mahaprabhuji had explained the Granth ‘Shri krshnapremamrut’ written by Shri Swaminiji to his sevaks. In this granth, Shri Swaminiji had sung 118 names of Shri Thakorji during separation. Shri Swaminiji asked Shri Thakorji: Who should I donate this granth? At that time Shri Thakorji ordered: Donate it to a person who is similar to you. Shri Swaminiji had written this Granth with her own hands on the rocks of Shri Girirajji. Shri Mahaprabhuji went to that rock & read that granth. Shri Krshnachaitanya & Keshav Bhatt were also present there at that time but even they were not able to read that Granth.
