Then Shri Mahaprabhuji went for Parikrama of the earth. Shri Damodardasji Sambhalwala himself used to fill the water for Shri Thakorji. So one day his father in law came to his place & told that he gets embarrassed in the society because of his filling water. So he requested him not to fill water & get it filled from the maid servant.
At that time Shri Damodardasji remembered the pada of Shri Surdasji ” Kaan na kahu ki dhariye, Vrat ananya ek lahiye ho”. Thinking this he asked his maid servant to accompany him for filling water. He filled a pot & lifted it & also gave one pot to the maid. The maid being Bhagwadiya carried two pots. Then both of them passed by the shop of Shri Damodardasji.
His father in law came to him again & touched his feet & told him that he had realized his mistake. He also requested him to fill the water alone & assured him that no one will ask him to stop it ever again.
